The Suffocating Realization

The more you grow and understand, the more you realise that nothing matters as you thought it would.

The good physique and toned muscles don't make feel all that confident. The classy dresses and the fine fabrics don't give the comfort you seek for. The beautiful face and the charming personality don't get people to value you. The expensive experiences and extravagances don't add meaning to life nor does it bestow satisfaction that you hoped it would. Being center of attraction and a fan following doesn't bring close people that you find solace with.

A big black car and matte black heavy motorcycle are nothing but a toy for the older boys. All toys that people get used to after playing with. The lavish house is nothing but just to provide you comfort enough that you look forward to coming back to it.

People? The family that you will grow old to realise that they can't understand you. Friends; everyone will come to you to make you hear them. The people are but self centred, their world revolves around them.

What wealth should a man chase and why? What does it bring to you? More of these things that you will find does amount to nothing. After a time people just keep carrying them out of habit. What work do you seek? Who does it benefit? What will it amount to? What will it give you? You give your life to something and what does it finally give you? All the pursuits and all the passion that leads to a lifelong of work, doesn't amount to anything and people die without achieving anything.

Everything is just to give people a sense of distraction, especially to those who live life on the surface. The distraction from all these deep questions and the real value of things in life. Because sometimes it gets very suffocating to address these questions and to realise that generations after generations and herds after herds, people are chasing a mirage. Something that they haven't found and something that they never will.

How is a soul liberated? How do we free ourselves from this ages of delusion? How do we find the real happiness? How do we find the meaning? Why else should we live? Why else should we suffer?
